The Street Department is located at 99 W. Canal Street below the Fire Department.  They are responsible for drainage, street clean up, patching pavement, mowing village grass, and snow removal.  It might not sound like much, but for a small handful of dedicated men they get the job done.  There is a lot of village property that needs tending to every week on top of the road and drainage problems that also come up thoughout the year.  Whenever you see these hard-working individuals remember to thank them for their hard work.  They are working very hard to ensure that the Village is safe and secure for public travel, and is also neat in appearance for the drive through travelers.
