The purpose of Erie Valley Fire & Rescue is to preserve and protect the life and property of Bethlehem Township and Village of Navarre, implement fire safety training and prevention, and provide a well staffed, highly trained fire department as to ensure the safety and prosperity of life for those we serve and protect.
Erie Valley Fire & Rescue was adopted on 01/01/2016 by a joint venture between the Navarre Fire Department and Bethlehem Township Fire & Rescue. With this joint commission, we are able to provide a larger, higher trained roster of members to the citizens of Bethlehem Township and Village of Navarre. Erie Valley Fire & Rescue now staffs a station from 5:00am to 9:00pm, seven days a week. This staffing significantly decreases our response time to all incidents. Between the hours of 9:00pm and 5:00am, three on-call members are assigned to respond to calls.
