Special Council Meeting September 28, 2020
Mayor Benson called a Special Council Meeting to order on Monday, September 28, 2020. Mayor Benson began the meeting with a prayer and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Members answering roll call were Pat Winkhart, Justin Cline, Liz Urbach, Josh Smith, and President Pro Temp Derek Netzly. Daniel Rouse was not present at the meeting. Also present at the meeting were Clerk Treasurer Anne Johnson, Village Administrator Zachary Wisselgren, Village Solicitor Attorney Terry Seeberger, Gene Kiko and Tina Slatzer.


Gene Kiko spoke to Council about the upcoming Village auction. Ms. Winkhart motioned, Mr. Smith seconded to sell the 1933 fire truck in the auction. Winkhart yes, Cline yes, Urbach yes, Smith yes, Netzly yes. Five yes votes. Motion carried. The new auction date is set for October 26, 2020. Fliers will be prepared. Online bidding will also be available. Ms. Winkhart motioned, Ms. Urbach seconded to hire Kiko Company to sell at auction two pieces of real estate, the fire truck, a police car, two trucks, a trailer and a bucket truck. Winkhart yes, Cline yes, Urbach yes, Smith yes, Netzly yes. Five yes votes. Motion carried.


Attorney Terry Seeberger spoke to Council about the landscape buffer at Prospect Park.
He advised the Board of Zoning Appeals will meet next week to review the plans.
He also introduced two ordinances, Ordinance 20-2020 and Ordinance 8A-2020, both prospective ordinances on the same issue.


Mr. Netzly moved to adjourn the meeting. Ms. Urbach seconded. Winkhart yes, Cline yes, Urbach yes, Smith yes, Netzly yes. Five yes votes. Meeting adjourned.
